Welcome!

    Hello!  My name is Mrs. Misty Dobson and I am so excited to be a part of the Blanche Dodd Elementary School family!  Most importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher!  It’s going to be a fun year filled with lots of learning and new adventures!   I can’t wait to see what fun things this school year brings us!  

     Here is a little bit of information about me!  I am starting my 20th year as a teacher.  I have taught kindergarten, 1st grade, 4th grade, and special education. I have worked in Denton ISD and this will be my first year in Krum ISD. 

     I just celebrated my 16th wedding anniversary with my husband Mark.  We have 13 year old twins named Aiden and Alexa.  Aiden is my musical genius who plays the guitar and piano.   Alexa is my athlete who has been a competitive cheerleader and tumbler for 7 years.   I am a huge animal lover!  We have 2 dogs and 2 cats, and lots of fish.
