Meet Our Assistant Principal

Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! We are so glad you joined us this year! We are so excited to start our new year seeing smiling faces and feeling the excitement in the air.

This is the start of my 7th year with Krum ISD and my 16th year in education. Prior to being a 4th grade teacher here in Krum, I taught at a high needs campus in Denton ISD. I have taught all grades 1st-4th. I graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2007 with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies and graduated from the University of North Texas in 2017 with a Master of Educational Leadership Degree.

Prior to moving to the Denton area, I grew up in a small town in east Texas. I graduated from Martin’s Mill High School with only 21 people in my graduating class! We were only a 1A school at the time and they still do not have football. I loved every minute of small town living and small school experiences. We looked to give our children the same school and community memories. Krum felt like home instantly! We love the close-knit feeling of this community and the hometown pride shown by generations of Krum Bobcats. 

As educators, our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that plants and fosters the love of life-long learning. We encourage parental involvement and open lines of communication while we work together as partners in your child’s educational growth.
